Forbis Customers’ Day 2010

The traditional Forbis Customers’ Day invited all the customers – bank representatives from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia and Belarus, to meet each other on 19th of November, 2010, and listen to the presentations about the novelties created by Forbis. Darius Jasinskis, the Director of the Product Management Department of the Danske Bank also made a report about their experience of implementation of the FORPOST*CRM – the tasks’ plans management system.
 
This year the event took part in the National Gallery of Art. The participants had the possibility not only to acknowledge with the novelties presented by Forbis, but also to see the gallery’s exhibitions. Later, the event moved to the Sky Bar in the Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva, where famous Lithuanian traveller and photographer Marius Jovaiša introduced his project Unseen Lithuania and his other future projects. After an interesting presentation of the photographer's projects, every participant received a book called Unseen Lithuania, containing stunning illustrations of the country, or a poster from this book.
 
The Forbis representatives made presentations on following issues:
  • Automated Testing:
                 •   Applying the automated testing technology to all the Forbis products;
                 •   Testing tools and services offered to the customers;
                 •   Individual Release Management.
  • Reporting in Business Intelligence environment:
                 •   Business Intelligence (BI) in the environment of FORPOST*Data Warehouse (FDWH);
                 •   Mandatory reporting to the Central Bank of Russian Federation (RFREP);
                 •   Mandatory reporting to the central banks of EU countries;
                 •   Perspectives of BI.
  • Administration of VAT invoices – automation of VAT issuing and administration.
  • Authentication by telephone – a software-hardware solution, ensuring authentication of a customer and processing of the customer’s remote orders given by the phone.
  • Results of the y.2010 and goals for the y.2011 – the projects implemented by Forbis during the year 2010 and the activities planned for the year 2011 were presented.
According to the Forbis CEO Andrej Zuev, the annual Customers’ Day attracts a great interest, therefore such events will be held in the future, as they are not only informative, but also allow the banks' representatives from the different countries to share their experiences with each other.
