Forbis released FORPOST*IB Internet Banking version on new platform
A new FORPOST*IB version has already been installed and successfully operates at the site of one of the Forbis clients and its migration in other banks has also been stipulated. In the new release the IB source code was totally rewritten in the JAVA environment, made more efficient and quite reduced.
“Technological changes and new challenges in the world of information technologies encourage the Forbis company to constantly improve the architecture and technologies of their created solutions,” commented Artur Alehnovich, Chairman of the Board of the Forbis company.
The new release of FORPOST*IB has been created employing automatic tests, which allow the client to save additional labour expenses and provide a possibility to perform automated tests in their environment. Automated tests also ensure:
- Planned load on equipment and data bases for different quantities of users.
- Security, i.e. the resistibility of the system to various attacks is tested.
- Functionality (e.g. when a new release or updates are introduced).
The new platform has been supplemented with key technological possibilities:
- To work with different data sources and to use ESB.
- The interface settings were expanded: view and logic are separated.
- Support of mobile devices, i.e. now the user may connect to the Internet bank using mobile devices.
- Demo-version is created on the real-data-basis, and the operation with it is carried out in the automatic mode.
- The cache mechanism is controlled; it allows to significantly reduce the quantity of the data being transferred to the user’s browser, and to decrease the load of main servers.
- The response time is pre-determined.
- Output of the application at lower source load is several times increased.
- Quicker integration of technological novelties, which unceasingly dash into our life.
Expanded IB functionality:
- Interpreter – the clients themselves may publish financial product in their used FORPOST*IB.
- Significantly extended style management– there are no restrictions to changing the view and the design of the Internet Banking user interface.
- SEPA support.
- Now IB users may:
- Create the list of transfer beneficiaries.
- Manage their IB contracts: change accounts, set their limits and rights, change user data or even IB user individual etc.
- Create a quick-launch menu on the Dashboard – provide references to the most frequently used IB pages/balances of the most frequently used accounts.
- View relevant information block – information on the newly received messages and states of transactions (rejected, signed and being executed transfers).
