New FORPOST banking information system release 4.5.2
On the 14th of June 2010 the Forbis Company released a regular version of the FORPOST banking information system. And on the 18th of June release 4.5.2 was introduced to the clients.
BIS FORPOST release 4.5.2 is the last version to support operation in the client-server and WEB architecture. Further on, the development of FORPOST will entirely transit to the WEB architecture. However, in consideration of the clients’ needs, the projects concerning old architecture will have to be completed.
“We have fulfilled obligations to our partners announced last year in May during the presentation of release 4.5.0 and fully transited BIS development to the WEB environment. Nevertheless, we will complete the earlier started projects. In our opinion, it is very important for the clients to invest while transiting to new architecture, which is also supported by the indexes of ROI and TCO. In relation to that we offered the participants of the presentation a wide range of discounts to our services on installation of new technologies”, commented Andrej Zujev CEO of the Forbis Company.
“Day before the release of a new version, several clients installed release 4.5.1. Now 75% of our clients use a new 4.5.Х line of products with the Oracle CBO (Cost based Optimizer). It allows to fully use all the possibilities of the optimiser and a whole set of new properties of the FORPOST system, thus increasing scalability”, highlighted chairman of the board of the Forbis Company Arthur Alechnovich.
