Forbis, a Lithuanian banking information system vendor, and its daughter enterprise in Russia have signed a new co-operation agreement with the Oracle software supplier, and have officially become Gold Partners of Oracle.

 

On having become an official Oracle Gold Partner, the Forbis Company may offer its banks-customers the entire software package required for the efficient bank operation. The Gold Oracle Partnership provides the Lithuanian Forbis Company and its Russian daughter enterprise the right to distribute and to use all the newest technological solutions of the Oracle Company.

 

In response to the market needs, last year Forbis introduced a new banking system FORPOST release 4.5.0, where an entirely new Internet-based user interface, created with the help of Oracle technical opportunities, was implemented. A new solution enables the banks to operate more efficiently, i.e. to more optimally use technical resources of the bank, to speed up provision of new services to the market etc. Forbis is further developing the novelties and has already started to implement the upgrades in the banks employing FORPOST.
